Start a Book Series
Start a Book Series
KDP allows you to create a book series and sell it on Amazon. You can start a series with any book format (i.e. eBook, paperback, or hardcover). And you don’t need to have all books in your series complete before creating one. Books can be added or removed from a series at any time.
If you have a different formats of a book, link them on your Bookshelf and then add either format to your series. Any linked format will be automatically added to your series.

Resources for your series:
If you have a different formats of a book, link them on your Bookshelf and then add either format to your series. Any linked format will be automatically added to your series.
Note:
- Public domain and low-content books, such as notebooks and journals, are not eligible for creating a series.
- You can add your Kindle boxsets to your series as related content. We currently don't offer a way to create a bundled or boxed set for paperback books. If you have a boxset edition of your paperbacks already sold on Amazon by other vendors, contact us to add it as related content to your series page.
- If you're publishing a series on kdp.amazon.co.jp, the setup and instructions are different than kdp.amazon.com. For details, visit this Help article Series Collections in kdp.amazon.co.jp.
Create your Series:
There are two ways to create a series through your KDP account:
- Click the + Create New section on your Bookshelf and select Create series page.
- Add a title to a new or existing series by clicking the ellipsis button ("…") next to the book you want to update. Click Add to series.
If your series has live titles, the series page will appear within 72 hours. If your series doesn't have live, main content titles, the series page will appear within 72 hours after your titles are live.
